Assassin's Creed Director's Cut is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and released in 2008. The game is the first installment in the Assassin's Creed series and has since become one of the most popular video game franchises.

In the game, the player takes on the role of a protagonist named Desmond Miles, who is a modern-day bartender captured by Abstergo Industries, a fictional company. The player is then taken back in time to the late 12th century, during the Third Crusade, where they control a skilled assassin named Altair Ibn-La'Ahad.

The game is set in an open world environment and features parkour-style gameplay where Altair can climb walls, leap gaps, and perform other acrobatic movements. Combat includes the use of swords, knives, and fists, with stealth also being a significant aspect of the gameplay.

The Director's Cut edition of the game includes additional content such as new side missions, increased crowd density, and improved graphics.
